If you choose not to decide

“If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice”

from the song “Freewill” by Rush – one of my favorites

I think this applies to so much more than what meets the eye. Like, where in your life are you holding back? What do you want to be doing that you’re not doing?

Your inaction is a choice.
Your waffling is a choice.
Your indecision is a choice.

When I say this to my clients, they often respond, “But what if I make the wrong choice?”

Here’s the thing: you can always change your mind.

Make a choice and if it’s the wrong one, you’ll know immediately. Then choose again.

And yes, my friend – it really is that simple.

Bottom line: don’t let fear of making the wrong choice hold you back.
